Project Rubric

Clase: Here is the rubric on which you will be graded for your projects. Your goal is to make a 4 in every category. There are 7 categories (7x4=28) so 28 points possible. This rubric is harsh so DO YOUR BEST WORK. If you get a 3 in 3 categories and a 4 in all the rest, that's 21/28 = 75%. Use this rubric as a reference while you complete the work on your project. 

Presentation
Well-rehearsed with smooth delivery that holds audience attention.
3 Rehearsed with fairly smooth delivery that holds audience attention most of the time.
2 Delivery not smooth, but able to maintain interest of the audience most of the time.
1 Delivery not smooth and audience attention often lost.
Requirements
4 All requirements are met and exceeded.
3 All requirements are met.
2 One requirement was not completely met.
1 More than one requirement was not completely met.
Originality
4 Product shows a large amount of original thought. Ideas are creative and inventive.
3 Product shows some original thought. Work shows new ideas and insights.
2 Uses other people\'s ideas (giving them credit), but there is little evidence of original thinking.
1 Uses other people\'s ideas, but does not give them credit.
Sources
4 Source information collected for all graphics, facts and quotes. All documented in desired format.

Organization

REMEMER THE REQUIREMENTS!!
You will choose a Spanish speaking country to research and then create a presentation for the class on your findings. Your project should include:

- cuisine - religion -government
 -culture (including pop culture) -historical events
- famous people   - sports - unique celebrations
You need to include a visual aid in your presentation as well as new Spanish vocabulary (words we don’t already know).

 Please keep in mind:
-list your sources
-wikipedia is NOT a legitimate source
-do NOT copy/paste information from a website into your presentation
-do NOT stand in front of the class and read a power point – that’s not a presentation.
You should share the information as if you’re having a conversation.
-if you include a video or song, 3 minutes is the limit
-be prepared for Q&A from your peers at the end of your presentation – you should be an expert on your area
